An American one exposes to the Museum of MMarrakech

Layla Fanucci, a 53 years old American artist, exposes to the museum of Marrakech of April 3 to June 30 next ones. An exposition that could have
brought up thanks to the competition of Naïma Lazrak Benjelloun, president of foundation Omar Benjelloun and of Wafâa Mezouar, she also artist painter and girlfriend of the artist. For three months, about thirty pictures of the artist, of different sizes, will be exposed, with for theme, "urban landscapes". This last one paints in fact the cities that she visits, of Paris to San Francisco, while going through Berlin, Rome, Toronto and a lot of others. "My works express my trip experiences. They reflect my love for the architecture", we entrusted. To attend the vernissage, the artist arrived since little to Marrakech. Delighted of the warm welcome of which its friends surrounded it, Layla does not dry up any praises on Morocco and its inhabitants. She counts besides to profit from it to take many clichés. Of return in his situated workshop to the heart of Napa Valley (to Holy Helena in California), she goes itself to inspire some to paint the city. And its Moroccan pictures next will be able to be the object of another exposition in the Kingdom. The artist already exposed to New York to several returns, but also to Toronto and to San Francisco. Next year, she foresees to expose to London and Chicago. Very young, encouraged by its parents, Layla Fanucci learned several instruments of music, in particular the piano, the clarinet and the guitar. Having obtained a good level in music, she began teaching these different musical disciplines. Eleven years ago, Layla tried itself to the paint and this was a lightning blow for this new artistic expression. His entourage appreciated its canvass and the orders began raining. Very quickly, she stops the music courses to devote itself to his new passion. "I began painting everyday, full-time and that lasts for eleven years", she explains. Encouraged by his husband Robert, (producer of wines and owner of a renowned wine-growing property to Napa Valley) and its three children, she follows with diligence its activities of painter. Progressively of its numerous trips, she enriches its urban architectural knowledge and continues to express itself through the paint. The pictures of Fanucci will be in sale to the museum of Marrakech between 2,000 and 20,000 dollars unity.
